A Bit About Me

I grew up in the Lower Mainland, moved around a few times and for the last 4 years have made my home here in the Okanagan. My path to becoming a counsellor was unique because I began my degree when I was 28 and had to learn how to do school all over again. During that time I took the opportunity to explore  my gender identity which had been in the back of mind since the age of 6. I started HRT in 2015 and socially transitioned in 2018. (There was a lot of fear and anxiety). Since moving to Kelowna, I have found a home, and feel like I am a member of a community. In my spare time, I play with my doggo (Storm), working on various projects and since May 2022 lots of slo-pitch.
